Brinkley | 7 Months

Brink Brink is 7 1/2 months and counting. I originally met up with her mommy and daddy for their maternity session last fall and then had the pleasure of taking Brinkley’s newborn photos shortly after she was welcomed into the world. She has gotten so big and looks just like her daddy!! (Sorry Amber) It’s crazy how much her little personality shines through in these pictures. She smiles so big that you can barely see her eyes. Oh, those eyes and eyelashes. I’m so jealous! I can’t wait to see Brinkley again for her 1 year session!

Look at her cutting her eyes at me. haha. She’s thinking “Don’t mess with me”

Someone saw mommy and got really excited!

I love her one dimple. 🙂

Just hanging out, reading to her friends.

Calla Rose | Newborn

Calla Rose. What a unique and gorgeous name. Courtney has had it picked out since she was a little girl. On top of that Calla Lilies are my favorite flower. She is so pretty. She gave me so many different little grins and smiles. Some open mouth, some closed, some with her tongue out  and some were side smiles. Calla Rose’s daddy is my stepmom’s lifelong best friend so it made the session even more special. I don’t think they ever would have imagined that her 23 yr old stepdaughter would be photographing his first born baby girl. Calla Rose is officially a baby planner so I can’t wait to watch her grow. Congrats on your beautiful little girl Lyn and Courtney!

I have been itching to use this purple setup for almost a year! Calla Rose modeled it perfectly!

sweet little side smile

The little details are what we most often forget when little ones grow up. Most times, their hair falls out and grows back a different color. I always try to capture little details like this so parents don’t forget all the little details that made their baby so unique.

More smiles 🙂

Mommy gets credit for this one! She had this idea when I arrived and even made a trip to the flower shop in order to make it perfect. Calla Rose in the midst of Calla Lilies and Roses. Perfect.

Gorgeous momma. It blows my mind that someone could look this great a week after giving birth!
