Writing this post is surreal. My childhood best friend had a baby. A BABY! This is the kind of thing we only dreamed about. I was so excited when she told me she was pregnant and even more ecstatic when I learned that the name she chose was the name I called Whitney growing up. I took her first photos at the hospital and then took these a little over a week later. She was so alert and wide awake the majority of the time in the hospital. She was the perfect little model for her newborn session. Welcome to the world Tilly. I can’t wait to watch you grown, spoil you, and take your photos for the rest of your life!

Sometimes I come across clients/ brides that I don’t know. Between emails, calls, and texts I get to know them without ever seeing them face to face. Engagement sessions are usually when I finally get to put a name with a face. Elizabeth’s family lives in Dothan and came into town for the Bama vs. Texas A&M game. (the one we all want to forget) We had a wonderful time cracking jokes and belly laughing. I know the wedding day will be just as fun. We started out on campus considering UA is where these two love birds met. I love the feel of these photos. I think you can tell that we had a good time! Congrats y’all!
