Mr. & Mrs. Cooper

Anna came to me through a referral from my dear friend and long time Tuscaloosa photographer, Crosby Thomley. I immediately threw her into the category of “one of Crosby’s dancers.”  By that I mean that she must be one of his favorite long time clients/dancers that he has photographed for decades. Since he doesn’t do weddings, he refers them to a couple of us fellow photos in the area. (Thanks Cros!) It’s so odd to say that we became friends through email. After months of emails back and forth you finally meet face to face and it’s always exciting to put a face with an email address. Anna’s bubbly personality shined through her emails. There were hugs, smiles and squeals when we finally got to meet up weeks before the wedding! She and her mom, Mary, gushed over details and were just so sweet and making sure I had everything I needed.

Let me tell you something, this girl is so in love with her man. She looks at him with such depth and happiness. We could hear Anna squealing before we could even see her coming down the aisle. She could not wait to be Mrs. Cooper! It was a super small ceremony with only close friends and family. I love small ceremonies. They are so intimate and almost like a little reunion. The University Club made for a gorgeous venue for the day. Everyone involved made the day so smooth. Congrats Mr & Mrs. Cooper!!

Anna’s mom decorated her hanger.

So excited to be a bride!

They cracked me up with this series of pictures.

Gorgeous.

Prime example of why you SHOULD do a first look. Such a special moment!

Best friends.

The flowers were so different than the wedding “norm.” I loved all the bright colors and different flowers.

I’m such a sucker for detail. The outdoor centerpieces were simple and cute.

Anna got Jennifer a locket with a picture of each of them from the first recital they were in together! How sweet is that?

Stories, tears, and toasts.

Then they danced! So much fun!

Who’s ready for the Bahamas?
