Where to begin? I could talk about this couple and their special day for hours. Kim is so sweet and so in love with Rodney. Rodney looks at Kim with such admiration and steals kisses as often as he can. When I first talked to Kim she gushed about a vintage themed wedding with tons of small details that included a plethora of props. The sound of a Fall wedding at Swann Lake Stables sounded magical, and it was. It was a breezy cold October day. There were handmade quilts, a warm fire, bails of hay, and suspenders. Kim made it clear that she wanted to really concentrate on time with just her and Rodney. After the first look they cuddled, laughed, kissed, and even whistled. (you’ll see what I’m talking about further down in the post) I had never shot a vintage wedding before this one. The posing, mood, and even editing was different than any other weddings I had been a part of. I liked it. They showed so much trust in me and allowed me to shoot however I wanted. Several of Kim’s friends are past clients of mine, so catching up with everyone was so nice. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Hightower. I know you will live happily ever after.
Ladies & Gentlemen…I present the whistle. Yes, it requires the funny face to achieve the sound. Good times.
Amy is always the life of the party. 🙂
Our comic relief for the evening.
So in love.
There’s nothing like a man that cherishes his Momma. They both cried, and so did I.
I wanted the Wobble, so they delivered. Ha
Congrats you guys! Thanks for being so awesome and allowing me to photograph such an important day!
